CORN MAZE

We went to the corn maze that we go to every year and had fun. It was a little windy and cold but we ended up being the only ones in the maze which was nicer than having all the older kids running around scaring the little kids. Bailey was just having a blast running through the maze, and picking up every cob of corn she could find and trying to eat them. She succeeded once and spit the corn right out. She was pretty funny.

just sitting and waiting for the tractor and wagon to pick us up at the maze to take us back to the farm.

i was trying to get Bailey to turn around and say "cheese" like she always does, but for some reason she just kept walking away until she caught up to Madison and turned around and said her cheesy "cheese".

Luke being Luke........need i say more. :o)
This is right where my girls belong..... :o) Madison

Paige.....she was a little hesitant to stick her head in

Finally a new post :o)

I have been slacking in the blogging department. I don't really have any excuses other than 3 kids home during the summer and trying to get the house fixed up. We are just down here in the south baking in the 100+ degree weather. So its been fun trying to think of things to let the kids do while they aren't in school. I took the girls and 2 nieces and my nephew to the park at 10 am once and it was too hot to do anything, so needless to say that it only lasted 15 minutes. :o)
I'm kinda getting anxious for school to start back up again just because i hate all the little fights they get into with each other. So anyway Bailey is running around the house like crazy and saying everything we say. She is quite the little character, and i find myself laughing at her all the time. I can say she has been our best baby, but we'll have to wait and see if that changes. :o)
Luke is still working out in the elements, YUCK! Too hot to be working outside. So far he has found a helamonster and a tarantula out where he works. Too bad the helamonsters are on the endangered list or i would have Bret (my brother) stuff it for us. ha ha ha
Maddy turns 8 next month and will be baptized probably in September. Where does the time go..... seems like yesterday she was just a little 7 lb baby.
Paige turns 7 next month also and is a great help to me with Bailey. She is my little helper and I'm glad for that.
Bailey.................... is Bailey. need i say more. She is just so funny to watch dance and run around. She has started talking to her food before she eats it which we all sit at the table and laugh at her. She is still her daddy's little girl, always crys when he goes to work or comes home and goes to take a shower.
so anyway there isn't much with me going on. I am in nursery in our ward, and there are 2 other leaders in with me, so thank goodness for that. Ive missed the last 2 weeks with being in northern Utah which was a nice break from other peoples kids. :o)
My house is a mess since we have been painting and now getting ready to do flooring.....uggh but at least the ugly tile will be no more. but the only good thing about the white tile is that i can always see the dead cockroaches on it and can get them taken care of. ahhh the wonderful world of St George. We have cockroaches EVERYWHERE! kinda gross but ya learn to deal.
OK now i know I've run out of things to post when I'm typing about roaches. ha ha ha ha

4TH OF JULY

Fourth of July 2009
We went to watch the hot air balloons in provo with my brother, sister-in-law and 7 kids
Paige said she didnt want to go again because she had to get up too early. (6 am) Bailey LOVED watching all the balloons.

Madison at lunch with her cousin Cohen. What cute kids.

Memorial Day 09

These are just a couple pictures i took on Memorial Day...
We try to make it to see Lukes mom every year in Ogden.
It would have been nice if we could have gotten some normal smiles from the girls.
As you can see, Bailey has her tongue sticking out. :o)The girls with their cousins Lily and Marian (Peach) at grandma Penrods.
Here they are styling the flower in the hair look.

Now that i have gotten all the other topics posted, i will post a little update with us..
Luke is still working hard out in the fun St George heat. Still no shop, but i think he is getting closer to having one.
Me...i am playing mom to my 3 girls. Im very torn to how summer is going to be, with having all 3 of them home. How many fights are they going to have, how am i going to keep them busy for 3 months.
Madison...she is finishing up her 1st grade year at school. Her teacher was pretty nice and she made lots of friends since we moved here in september. She loves to play with Bailey and carry her around more than she needs to be.
Paige...just had her kindergarten graduation and she was so fun to watch her in her program. She was really getting into it. She is a good helper with Bailey. She also has made a lot of friends since we moved here.
Bailey....what can i say about Bailey :o) what a funny little girl she is. She is walking all over now and can say some words pretty good now. i think her favorite word to say is "doe" which in our language is "no". but its funny when she says it, she has to point her finger at you.
so i guess that is about it for now. we are just getting ready to endure through the hot summer now, but its not too bad.

Disneyland........spring break 2009

We didnt get too many pictures this trip...but i did get lots of video. Luke got me a digital camcorder before we went to Disneyland. This is our family picture by the castle. There were ALOT of people in that area. We are use to going in November and so we werent use to that many people. California Adventure wasnt as crowded as disneyland. We spent most of our time in California Adventure. All i have to say is thank goodness for fastpasses and stroller swaps!!! everyday they would run out of fastpasses on the big rides. the longest line we waited in was the space mountain cuz we didnt get fast passes before they ran out, but we waited about an hour, BUT when we were about to get off the ride they started to send us back through when the ride broke for 10 minutes, and they let us go again! hee hee so those were some of our highlights.
The girls over in Bugs Land...

2 Mr. Incredibles!!!!! :o)

Kobe Bryant

this picture was taken on the last day we were at disneyland....it was "family time" for kobe bryant from the lakers. we tried to get a better picture but the disney people pretty much wouldnt let anyone. i had a chance to get a better picture cuz he stopped right by me while i was waiting for luke to write something down in the toy store, but i thought there was NOWAY that was kobe. i thought he would have been taller. :o) so when luke came out i told him that i thought i saw kobe bryant and so he looked and told me that it was him, so we kinda chased him down...LoL

Valentines Day

this is Bailey starting to crawl up the stairs. she has come a long way the past month or 2. I cant believe shes almost 1. March 7th. My 3 little valentine girls......awwwwwe how cute are they.

Paige holding her pink heart pancakes.....
Maddy holding her gluten-free pink heart pancakes....
the girls loved their special valentine pancakes...i think i had fun making them too. We didn't really get anything special for dinner since you couldn't get near any restaurants since there were so many events going on that weekend. It was one of the worst weekends down here i can remember, so we ended up at taco bell with Paul, Nancy and kids. :o) then went to their house and played games for a while. so that was our valentines this year.

our new addition

this is our new dog Addy-Bell...thats the name she had when we got her. shes still getting use to us all and is a pretty lazy dog. :o) im just glad she is potty trained already though. The girls love taking her outside and always ask to take her to the park at their bus stop. Addy is very protective of us. she always barks at other people she doesnt know. But we are hoping she starts to come out of her shell.

Bailey

Well for those of you who follow our blog, bailey has finally started to army crawl and is cutting her upper 2 teeth. we cant believe how fast she is growing. she will turn 1 March 7th. Where does the time go?! She misses her older sisters while they are at school and i think she gets tired of mom durring the day. She is always saying "da" and "mum". shes a funny kid. we love her and her sisters very much. She has been sleeping better at nights and only wakes up at 7 or 730 which we arent complaining about.

Fort Pierce

Old writting on the rock from back in the 1800's from people who were on their way to St. George to the temple to get married.
Luke holding on for dear life just to get a picture of the writting on the rock
Top of the trail

another family photo at the top of the trail...you can partially see the fort up at the top of the picture. They built the fort around the spring so the indians couldnt get to it...you just have to read the signs about the fort. there is more to the story.

Dinosaur Tracks

Dinosaur tracks hike....it is always so cool to see real dinosaur foot prints.
