I think that Bailey was hungry or something. She loves to eat soft fuzzy things like rags or her bibs and blankets. Shes so funny. Our old neighbor always called her "baby Luke". It has been hard to get things done having her, but its all good. It will just get done slowly. We are going to get the girls room ready to paint next. well we are officially moved out of pine valley town homes. we are hoping we will get some of our deposit back, but I'm not holding my breath. it ll be nice to only have to worry about one house now. so now its time to really get things put together here at the new palace. I'm so loving all the space i have now. every time i would go back to the town house, it would seem so small and id wonder how we fit everything in there.
i just went birthday shopping for Luke. he turns the big 30 tomorrow. we will probably just go to dinner. hopefully he will like what i got him.

Stevens Family Update

A lot has been going on here in the new house. We are trying to get things unpacked and put away but its not that easy. I hate moving but this move was well worth it. Maddy and Paige started going to their new school this week, Paige was a little scared but made some friends, so its not too bad anymore. Her class only has 15 kids in it which is very unusual. It'll be better for Paige that way she wont get lost in the shuffle and can get a better kindergarten experience. They both really like their new teachers and still ride the bus to and from school.
Bailey had her 6 month dr appointment a few days ago and she now weighs in at 16 lbs 1 oz. Its hard to believe she only weighed 5 lbs when she was born. The past 6 months have flown by. I guess i gotta quit blinking. : )
Im itching to get the halloween decorations out, but i kinda have other things that need to be done first (dang it). so anyway i guess thats our update for now. i'll post more pictures when i take more.

Well we've been slaving away at the house. Thank you for helping us Mom & Dad. we owe you guys big time. The carpets have been cleaned and are now dry, so now the fun part of moving begins. Luckily we have 2 more weeks at the townhouse, but Friday the stupid manager and owners are coming to look at our carpet to see how "bad" it is. Personally i don't think its that bad for us living here for almost 4 1/2 years. and the carpet is as cheap as it comes! Not to mention that when we moved in, it already had bleach spots on it from the previous renters but we told them not to replace it, cuz back then we had a 2 and a 3 year old. But its pretty bad when you spill WATER on, it'll stain it. anyway our new house carpets look so much better now that they are cleaned. Just need to vacuum over it so its not so stiff. Mom and Dad bought us some blinds, paints, and other misc. items. I think Mom had fun picking out paint colors for every room : ) but it'll be a while before its all painted. Right now the whole house is a peachy color. Even the ceilings are the peach color. its a little much, but fixable. I'm looking forward to painting. Hopefully the colors we picked look good. Anyway need to get back to packing up the house. thanks to everyone who have helped us the past couple weeks.
